Apple's iOS 6.1.2 to patch jailbreak vulnerability?
Worldwide release of the all-new iOS 6 and iPhone 5 jailbreak hits internet early this month, is Apple (AAPL) looking to counter it?
Apple (AAPL) users cautious about third-party breaking on their iPhone devices may only have to wait until early next week.
According to unidentified sources, it has been told that Apple will “likely” launch a major security patch for iOS 6.1 sometime next week as cited by iPhone-Ticker.
Previously, in a similar situation, they have accurately pointed out the release date for iOS 6.1.1 which has been released last week.
An Apple iOS device user discovered a major security hole in iOS 6.1 on Wednesday. BGR said that it incredibly easy to bypass the iPhone’s unlock screen pass code. Apple acknowledged the problem and said it was working to patch the vulnerability as quickly as it could.
It still remains to be seen whether the Cupertino-based company is also thwarting the jailbreak availability in the current iOS.
